Each day of the week will have a dedicated theme. That way you will know what will be up on a certain day of the week and can check in if it interests you. Post any question you like and a team member will answer it (please note...non music, political. We hope that we will achieve a festival that Tina Sherwood would have been proud to be part of and excited to attend. Tina’s family have decided on the following two beneficiaries of any profits from the event: HFT, which supports adults with learning disabilities country-wide and Danielle’s Flutterbyes fundraiser for young adults between 18 to 40 living with kidney disease (links in comments) Please, please if there are bands on this line-up you’ve never heard of, come along and check them out. Forge Music Group, Steel Paws LTD, and Stonedeaf Monsters Promotions LTD are humbled and delighted to bring to you, desTINAtion 2023. What? We are putting together a one day rock and metal event held across two stages with no clashes. We will bring to the stages a great selection of household names, new bands, and young artists for a full day music extravaganza. Why? Many of you will know of the tragic and recent passing of the lovely Tina Sherwood. Tina was one of us! She was an amazing person who loved her music and her family. She nurtured and encouraged many up and coming younger generation bands that are the future of our scene. She is greatly missed. Over the last few years we have lost many from our music scene, ordinary people with extraordinary hearts; normal people like you and us. When rock stars pass on, stages are named after them and every year they are remembered. This isn’t for them! This is for Tina and those just like her whom we knew and loved. If you’ve lost someone dear.....this is for YOU. When? July 15th 2023, from about midday until 10.30pm Where? Main room and second stage, Corporation music venue, 2 Milton Street, Sheffield. Along with the bands and the general mayhem, there will be food vendors and merch. In addition we will have an area where you can go and raise a glass for loved ones, raise a middle finger to the reason they are gone, light a candle if you want, and then go back to raise hell in front of the stages.
