Children over 5 can come along and enjoy the day but please remember this is an adult oriented event with adult themes.
Children under 15 years of age on the day of the event gain entry with a child’s ticket, purchased alongside a full paying adult. This a very low-risk event but still please keep a close eye on your children as they are your sole responsibility.
All lost property should be handed in at the box office near the entrance gate and all enquiries can be made there. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for further information.
Set lists will be available online and social media closer to the date.
There will be plenty of seating provided in the arena. Seating will be available for disabled ticket holders. Seating is also available outside in the courtyard.
We take both card and cash payments at our merch stall. The food vendors take both cash and card. The bars are card only. The nearest cashpoint is 15 minutes away so it’s better to bring cash with you.
Yes, there are, but they are pricey. It’s £5 for the whole day. These belong to the venue and we have no control over the pricing. Sorry.
Yes, from the vendors and all bars.
We have a wide variety of vendors at the festival with gluten free, vegetarian, vegan and allergy free options available.

We have people stationed at the welfare point which is near to the main entrance of the festival who are there to make sure that everyone is healthy and happy at Rockin the Bowl. If you are feeling overwhelmed, worried or just feel as though you need to talk about something, please see them and they will be happy to help you with anything you need. These people will also help you if you cannot find your child/children. ALternatively, anyone with a high-viz vest on can take you to the relevant staff if you need help. Please don’t hesitate to ask. We also operate the ‘Ask for Angela’ Scheme if you are feeling uneasy about someone else.
Our COVID-19 measures always comply with whatever government rules are in place at the time.
We aim to recycle as much of our waste as possible. All glasses/cups served at the bar are recyclable or compostable.
Free drinking water is available from all bars.
The gates will open at midday on Saturday the 6th. The arena will open at 12:30. The last band finishes at 10:00pm, gates close at 22:30. Bar opening times are 12:30 – 22:00.
Please pay attention to any signage in and around the venue.
We will have team members on standby at all times to ensure that those with access needs and disabilities can be aided in any way they need. Access ramps, disabled toilets and sectioned off viewing areas are all available. The interior of the venue has ramps to all levels and the courtyard, which is cobbled, is flat and accessible. Our team will be available to help you navigate the cobbles if needed.
If you have any specific dietary needs which mean that the standard festival vendors cannot cater for you safely, please bring food with you. Please be respectful of our vendors who have worked hard to provide good quality and reasonably priced food at our event. If you need food because of a specific medical condition, please let our door staff know and they will be happy to let you in. The same goes for drinks. You cannot bring in your own alcohol because this goes against the venue’s license and safeguarding obligations.
Assistance animals are welcomed; however, we are unable to allow any other animals into the arena. We advice that assistance animals are provided with ear defenders because this is an indoor venue with loud amplified music.
If you want to offer press coverage of our event, please email [email protected]. For anyone eager to trade, please contact [email protected]. If you or your band want to play at the festival, contact [email protected] and we will consider whether you fit well in the line up we currently have and keep your contacts for future festivals. We do not offer paid work, however we are always looking for volunteers. If you want to help make Rockin the Bowl even more Rockin, contact [email protected].
Under 5’s are not allowed but children’s tickets for those up to 15 years of age are half price with the purchase of an adult ticket. The event is low risk and the festival has safety procedures in place but this is an adult-oriented event and the festival sees parents/carers as solely responsible for their children. No minors are allowed when an adult is not supervising and responsible for them. A maximum of 6 children are allowed per order of adult tickets.
No, sorry. Please limit photos to you and your friends and the performers. Please be respectful of others. Semi and full professional cameras and videorecorders are not allowed at the event.
If you have any issues with tickets or general issues and enquiries please contact [email protected]. This includes any lost tickets.
