FOR
BAND SUBMISSIONS
CALLING ALL BANDS!
If you’re reading this we can assume that you are in a band and you want to be the first band to hit the stage at Rockin The Bowl 2026 right?
RTB has always believed in giving every band the chance to get onto a bigger stage than they would normally have. For one or two bands that we have hosted in the past, RTB still remains the biggest crowd they have played to.
To be in with a chance to do this, we ask very little; there is no pay to play, there is no play for free, there is no battle of the bands where you are asked to outplay your peers or trying to scrape around for votes, there is no hoping the organisers will pick you over many others.
Every band that applies gets equal chance to open the event, no matter who you are, where you’re from, or how long you have been together.
WE WILL SUPPORT YOU. WE WILL PAY YOU
All we ask is that you do the same because we really do need to stick together in this fragile grassroots scene.
So, here’s how to do it:
1) You, or a representative of the band (who knows, you might be gigging on that day) needs to buy a ticket to Rockin The Bowl 2025 on 6th September.
2) After buying your ticket, to what is shaping up to be a fantastic day out, send an email to us at [email protected]. Tell us the name(s) of the person (people) who have bought tickets. Tell us the name of the band. Start you email with ‘RTB Opening Band’
3) We will match the names in the email to the ticket order and you’re in the draw.
4) Turn up to the event, have an amazing time, and wait for the draw live on stage. If it’s you then you WILL open next year’s festival and you WILL get paid for it.
Oh! Just before you rush off to be in with a chance, a couple of things to let you know…
if you buy two tickets, you get two entries into the draw, if the whole band is coming then its four/five/six entries etc. If you’re the size of Slipknot…happy days.
Also, we will email you back to confirm and we will play one of your songs across our socials to promote you as much as we can.
Good luck and thank you for supporting live grassroots rock and metal.
